Candlelight climate vigil in Bremen
It probably wasn't as effective as a carrot mob, or as impressive as a real demo, but it was fun! Today between 6:15 and 6:45 pm five people met in front of the Bremen Town Musicians. The idea was to send a message of hope and concern to the members of the Copenhagen Climate Conference 2009 - and the visitors of the Bremen Christmas Market.
The event was announced at http://www.350.org/node/13513 and publicized by http://www.avaaz.org. Here are the pictures of the "big" event:
Tomorrow there will be two more "The world wants a real deal-events" in Bremen, please check for details on http://www.avaaz.org.
